Professional Ethics Workshop

As our professional boundaries expand, understanding of the ethical implications of our decision-making is of utmost importance. Utilizing ethical vignettes and decision-making models, counseling professionals will learn to anticipate and address the unethical uncertainties that may arise in their work.

By the end of this session, participants will demonstrate understanding of:

  • Identify at least two professional boundary challenges
  • Describe the steps or stages of practice-based Ethical Decision-Making Models
  • Identify elements of ethical practice and social media


    Location:  CBIZ on The Plaza, 700 W. 47th Street (11th floor), KC, MO

    Registration: 8:15-8:45 AM, light breakfast options provided

    Workshop:  8:45 – 11:45 AM

    Cost:  Free for GKCPA members, $30 for nonmembers/guests and $15 for students

    Please note that the registration fee for nonmembers can be applied toward the annual membership fee of $75.
